Sierra Mattox, O.D., received her Doctor of Optometry from the New England College of Optometry in 2022. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Psychology from the University of North Florida in 2018.
Dr. Mattox’s special fields of interest include scleral contact lenses and rigid gas permeable contact lenses. She appreciates the opportunity she has to help patients achieve their best possible vision, allowing them to lead fulfilling lives.
In her free time, Dr. Mattox loves spending time with her family and friends. Her hobbies include painting and running.
Austin L. Taylor, O.D., earned his Doctor of Optometry from Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry in Glendale, Arizona, in 2023. Before that, he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia, in 2018.
Throughout his academic journey, Austin received several scholarships and grants, including the Joe Frazier Scholarship, the HOPE Grant from the Government of Georgia, and the Satilla REA Scholarship.
Austin also completed additional training, such as Basic Life Support training from the American Heart Association and various optometric skills training at Midwestern University Arizona College of Optometry.
He gained experience as an Optometry Technician at Eye Tech Eyes and also worked as a Challenge Course Facilitator at Georgia Outdoor Recreation.
Austin completed internships at Midwestern University Eye Institute, Batavia VA Medical Center, Eye Centers of South Florida, and Edwin Y. Endo, OD and Associates, where he gained valuable clinical experience. Additionally, he dedicated his time to volunteer work with UGA Heroes and Sandy Creek Conservation Park Volunteer.
Dr. Kaitlin Brown is a proud alumnus of Florida State University. She continued her education at Nova Southeastern University: College of Optometry, where she received an honors Doctor of Optometry degree and a Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. She is an inducted member of Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key International Optometric Honor Societies.
Throughout her training, Dr. Brown completed several rotations in Pediatrics and Vision Therapy and was a recipient of the College of Optometrist in Vision Development (COVD) Award of Excellence, which fostered a passion for providing full-scope Optometric care to children and their families. She is excited to serve her hometown community and provide her patients with a positive eye care experience.
